Privacy Policy

ViloTV is a media player for Apple TV. It only plays content you add yourself: IPTV channel lists, SMB or WebDAV storage on your local network, and video URLs. ViloTV does not provide any audio or video content.
We do not collect your data
- ViloTV has no accounts; no sign-up or sign-in is required.
- It contains no analytics, advertising or tracking code, and does not track you across apps or websites.
- The developer does not operate any server that receives your data. None of your information is sent to the developer.
Information stored on your device
The following stays on your Apple TV only, so the app can work. It is never uploaded to the developer:
- Addresses you add: IPTV list URLs, video URLs, NAS / WebDAV server addresses and user names.
- Passwords: NAS / WebDAV passwords and any sign-in information you enter for sources you add, stored in the system Keychain.
- Playback progress, recently played items and settings.
Deleting the app deletes this information (Keychain entries are also removed when you delete the corresponding server in the app’s settings).
Network connections
- ViloTV only connects to addresses you enter (IPTV lists and channels, video URLs, NAS / WebDAV servers, etc.). Those servers are operated by third parties or by you, and may log access information (such as IP addresses) under their own policies.
- Local network: ViloTV uses Bonjour to discover SMB servers on your local network. To let you type addresses or account details on your phone, it temporarily runs a web page on your local network while the related screen is open, and stops it when you leave. All of this stays within your local network.
Children
ViloTV is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page will be updated along with its effective date.
